Pettistree
Church Room is a single-roomed redbrick building situated on the corner of
Rogues and Walnuts Lane. This is thought to have been at the edge of the
tithe land surrounding the church and is now part of the churchyard. It was
used until the 1980's for a Sunday school and for regular parish meetings
but in recent years has had very limited use as the Village Hall is more
suitable for Village use.
Although electricity is supplied to the building giving it the benefit of heat and light, there is no water laid on and therefore no plumbing, or any other washing facilities.
The room is used for the quarterly PCC meetings and for occasional social gatherings associated with the church and village, and has been used during village exhibitions.
